Biodiesel as a vehicle fuel source is the way of the future for America, because it gives citizens freedom. Biodiesel is a fuel similar to diesel derived from a plant source, like corn, used vegetable oil, or even algae. This biofuel is created from renewable resources to replace the low source of fossil fuels that is unfortunately nonrenewable. American society was basically coerced into finding a substitute for depleting fossil fuel reserves. Rising conflict between the United States (U.S.) and Third World Countries has caused the prices of crude oil to go up. Due to these situations society had to come up with a cheaper, renewable source of fuel. Biodiesel is the key to releasing the chains of restraint that have been placed upon citizens by those third world countries. Scientists can take crops, oil, or pond scum to make a biodiesel that will help save the environment and economy. Biodiesel fuel is the key to less price restrictions, as well as society s future and fresh air. Bio diesel will also help with the noise pollution because industries will be using less of the oil well boom to extract the crude oil from the ground. Another bonus is that there would be less fracking meaning less harmful chemicals and natural gas getting into people’s water supply. This also means that there would be less flammable water coming out of a household faucet.
